We’ve got tail-wagging news to share! We’re officially a B Corp Certified company, and we couldn’t be more excited! But what does that actually mean, and how does it benefit your dog (and YOU)? Let’s dig in!
What Is B Corp Certification?
First things first: B Corp stands for Benefit for All, and it’s the gold standard for companies that care about more than just making a profit. B Corps have to meet rigorous standards for things like social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability. In short, it's a way for companies to prove they’re doing good for people, pets, and the planet.
Being a B Corp is not just a label; it’s a holistic certification that evaluates how we operate across five key areas:

The B Corp Certification Process
So, how did we get here? The road to becoming B Corp Certified is not a walk in the park (although we love those too). It took a lot of work and careful evaluation of everything we do, from the ingredients we use to our office culture. We spent the last year going through a multitude of stages and completing detailed assessments covering all aspects of our operations, and we were thrilled to meet the high standards set by B Lab, the non-profit that certifies B Corps.
It wasn’t just about checking boxes, it was about doing better in all areas of our business. From using sustainable ingredients to ensuring our team members are well cared for, this certification proves we’re committed to making a real difference.

Our Impact Score
A B Corp Impact Score reflects a company’s performance in meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. To achieve certification, a business must complete the B Impact Assessment (BIA), a rigorous evaluation of its operations, governance, and impact on workers, communities, the environment, and customers. Companies scoring at least 80 points out of 200 qualify for certification, demonstrating a commitment to a balance between profit and purpose.
Based on the B Impact assessment, Petzyo Australia Pty Ltd. earned an overall score of 89.2. The median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9. See how we scored!
