Petzyo uses a veterinary nutritionist and science-backed research to ensure your dog receives the pawfect balance of meat, organs, bone, oils, and fresh produce.
Petzyo dogs like to play hard and embrace adventure. Raw Royalty provides your woofer with ample energy to engage in all life has to offer along with vitamins, minerals, prebiotics, probiotics, and antioxidants to support your dog’s brain health, joint health, coat and skin, and muscle health.

Pawfect for Dogs on Special Diets
Our single-meat approach with other low allergenic canine-friendly ingredients ensures it's easy to identify and manage any protein allergies your dog may have. As for other food intolerances, we limit what goes into each recipe to easily recognisable ingredients that you could buy at your local farmer’s market.
Whether your dog has a protein allergy or struggles to digest store-bought brands, with Raw Royalty, your dog will find the dinner gentle on their tummy and easy to digest. Our recipes are rich in natural fibre from tasty ingredients like sweet potato, carrots, and celery.
And Raw Royalty is wheat-free and grain-free!
Australian-Made. Australian-Owned.
Every Petzyo product is made and grown in Australia without any ingredients imported from overseas. The best produce, proteins, and other products can be sourced right here in Australia, which is why we never sacrifice quality for price when it comes to our ingredients. Companies that choose to import products from Asia and elsewhere settle for subpar ingredients with a higher risk of contamination.
Petzyo is also committed to supporting Australian-owned farms and businesses. Carefully sourcing ingredients within Australia keeps more money within the Australian economy.
Eco-Focused for a Sustainable Future
Together we can protect the future of our country’s ecosystem and the future of our planet. To do our part, Petzyo only uses sustainably harvested proteins, vegetables, and fruits. This includes our foundational protein, kangaroo. Kangaroo is often considered the most ethical protein since kangaroos live long lives in the wild. However, when the kangaroo population is able to grow without restraint, it has a devastating impact on the environment.
We also skip fuel-intensive deliveries to grocery stores by delivering to your doorstep.
What are the benefits of a BARF diet?
Biologically appropriate raw food is nutritionally balanced with more than just meat. In Petzyo raw dog food, you will find fresh fruits and vegetables such as blueberries, sweet potatoes, carrots, celery, and green beans. Plus, we never skimp on the superfoods such as cold-pressed flaxseed oil, turmeric, chia seeds, rosemary, and coconut.
Our frozen raw dog food provides dogs with micronutrients not found in cooked dog foods. A BARF raw dog food diet maintains nutrients such as B vitamins, Vitamin E, potassium, and magnesium which are often lost or degraded in foods heated beyond 48-degrees. BARF dog foods are also low in saturated fats and high in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. Additionally, Petzyo's premade raw dog food contains yoghurt with prebiotics and probiotics for a healthy gut microbiome.
Why does raw food meal plan include a balanced level of ground bones and organ meat? Organs and bones are a nutrient-dense source of vitamins, minerals, high-quality protein and fat. These elements support your dog's holistic wellbeing from their skeletal health to their brain, muscles, organs, skin, and coat.

Raw Dog Food FAQs
What makes Raw Royal different from other raw dog food options?
Petzyo is an Australian-owned company with an emphasis on sourcing the best Australian ingredients. So, every element that goes into Raw Royalty remains fresh and ready to be turned into your doggo’s delicious, flavourful, nutrient-dense dinner.
We also use a BARF approach to raw feeding, and every recipe goes through rigorous testing to verify that it is nutritionally balanced for doggos. Our raw foods are also examined by a veterinary nutritional expert to verify that every ingredient is beneficial to your dog’s health.
Finally, our raw foods remain frozen from the time they leave our facility to when they arrive at your home. Most raw or ‘fresh’ food options you’ll find your dog at the supermarket cannot say the same. Our individually portioned frozen patties make handling and portioning your dog’s meals simple.
Is raw dog food better?
Raw food for dogs has many benefits for pooch and their owners! First, a BARF raw dog food and puppy food by Petzyo allows you to better control exactly what your dog eats. This is great for dogs with allergies and food intolerances. A BARF dog food also provides doggos with nutrient-dense recipes that reflect their natural diet.
Many nutrients break down during the cooking process. These most often include Vitamin A, C, D, E, and K and the gamut of B Vitamins. Potassium, calcium, and magnesium also begin to break down through cooking.
Why is BARF better? It's one of the healthiest dog food options providing your dog with plenty of fibre and everything they need to live a life filled with fun, excitement, and adventure.
Which raw meat is best for dogs?
Most dogs benefit most from raw meats and protein with the highest biological values. However, dogs with food sensitivities may find that novel protein are easier to digest. Raw meats with the highest biological values include:
• Kangaroo
• Chicken & turkey
• Salmon & ocean fish
• Beef, lamb, & venison
Is a raw diet good for dogs?
Absolutely. A raw diet contains more micronutrients than a cooked diet because the cooking process breaks down many micronutrients found in some ingredients.
Petzyo's Raw Royalty is tested and reviewed by a veterinary nutritionist, and each of our recipes exceeds the guidelines established by the AAFCO and PFIAA. Furthermore, a raw diet of Petzyo's fresh-frozen foods provides dogs with:
• healthier skin
• shinier coat

• healthier gut
• reduced stool volume and improved odour.
Do vets recommend a raw diet for dogs?
Many vets do recommend a raw dog food diet that is biologically balanced to meet all of a dog's nutritional needs. Furthermore, many veterinarians believe that high-quality raw dog food is less likely to contain unnatural ingredients such as preservatives, artificial flavours, and synthetic colourings, which can be harmful to a dog's health.
However, some do not. What are the reasons vets do not recommend raw feeding? The primary reason is that homemade raw pet food can lead to a nutritional imbalance for dogs. The secondary reason is that mishandling raw dog food can cause cross-contamination and make a person sick. So, always be sure to wash your dog's dish after meals, wash your hands properly after handling raw dog food, and disinfect any surface that comes in contact with raw meat.
Can you mix raw and dry dog food?
Definitely. Combining raw food and kibble is an affordable way to provide your dog with the best of both worlds: the crunch of kibble and the nutritional benefits of raw feeding. When mixing raw and dry food, be sure to account for your dog's daily caloric needs. To ensure your dog is getting all their nutritional needs met, provide them with a ratio of raw-to-dry food that reflects their suggested serving size.
This means that if your dog will have a 1:5 raw-to-dry ratio, you will want to give your dog 20% of their daily suggested serving of Raw Royalty and 80% of their recommended daily serving of Kibble That Counts.
Is BARF (biologically appropriate raw food) good for dogs?
Yes! A BARF diet is designed to provide your dog with optimal health and maximum nutrition by meeting a dog's natural needs for protein, fruits, veggies, organs, and bone.
Our BARF recipes are nutritionally balanced and contain fresh, high-quality, Australian-sourced ingredients. We balance each formula to reflect a dog's need for water, protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, and flavour.
Many dogs enjoy more energy, better digestion, and a healthier mind, skin, and gut when switching to a raw diet.
